Greatest contribution of Konkanis to the world – making of a 12 volume treatise of medicinal plants in 17th century by Appu Bhat, Ranga Bhat and Vinayak Pandit @ Kochi. Long forgotten proud ancestors getting rememberd on Smruti Divas, a day on which they penned their contribution in Konkani (Devanagari) in the compilation printed in Latin @Amsterdam. A memorial is also getting ready to erected in Cherlai – Gosreepuram, the most virgin Konkani heritage still intact in the world.
